Microsoft is partnering with Navteq to beef up its Bing Streetside map offering, the two companies announced Monday.
Last week, Microsoft announced several new capabilities for Bing, including a street-level view that takes users inside public buildings, dubbed Streetside.
The offering drew comparisons to Google's Street View, but Microsoft's version is not currently as comprehensive as Street View. Microsoft intends to close that gap with data from Navteq.
